Today We Say Good Bye To Baby Aiden…but

Today we say good Bye to Baby Aiden, he is the son of Youth Pastors Jesse and Jessi.  This baby has an amazing testimony.  Baby Aiden was born without a trachea.  Doctors assured the parents that he would not live past a few hours beyond birth.  Through prayers and medical science a trachea was made for him, the miracles of God at work.  This baby brought nurses , doctors therapists, friends, family and strangers to their knees for healing prayer.  On Sunday May 27, 2012, Baby Aiden won a different battle, he won the battle to be with our Lord in His arms, pain-free and singing praises to the Lord.  Why is this a victory?  For us left on earth it hurts and will continue to hurt, but for Baby Aiden and our Lord, he triumphed.  This baby brought many of us in prayers together for the same cause.  God’s mission accomplished.  Sometimes we don’t seek God when things are going good, but when a trial comes our way we certainly do look for Him.  Let’s not wait to seek God during a trial, let us follow the example of Jessi and Jesse, they never lost faith or hope in God.  They know that one day they will be reunited with Baby Aiden in Heaven. He has a twin brother and older brother that he left behind.

Remembering Zoe

Today marks the anniversary of a special little girl named Zoe.  She was a triplet.  Her mother Keira, God bless her strength, started an organization called the Zoe Rose Foundation, http://www.zoerose.org/.  Why was this organization formed?  “By forming the Zoe Rose Memorial Foundation we want to help and support families of micro preemies, born 32 weeks and earlier, through education, outreach, and one-on-one parent support, which may occur upon diagnosis of high-risk pregnancy, NICU stay, prior to discharge or throughout the transition to home, and continue as needed by the families. ”

“Living in the NICU for weeks and often months as you watch your child fight for their lives and have to endure multiple procedures and surgeries is a stressful and traumatic experience. Often, just having another parent to talk to who has been down this path can make such a difference. We want to assist you, the parents and caregivers with micro preemie children in feeling confident, empowered and educated once that glorious day of discharge arrives. And we won’t leave you then. We will stick by you and be available to help you so we can help you navigate this new world once your little one(s) come home and YOU become the team leader for their health, care, and well-being.”

Today her mom Keira wrote this blog http://3sorrells.blogspot.com/ in memory of her beautiful little girl.  Please take a moment to read and donate to this organization, this will assist parents in many ways that are going through these difficult moments.

27 Miracles prays today for the healing hearts of Zoe’s parents.  Heaven has a beautiful angel named Zoe.

A Note from Florida Hospital

Florida Hospital For Children Wrote: Rosie’s book talks about her experience with her own NICU baby, Kaleb. We were fortunate enough to have Kaleb back to the hospital this week with his family to visit the nurses and physicians who cared for him. His sweet smile had us all gushing. We are so thankful for his progress and what a healthy and happy boy he has become. Thanks Rosie for sharing.
